Education Day – Indonesia

Today is a celebration of education day in Indonesia. Actually, 2nd May is a birth date of our education figure, Ki Hajar Dewantara. He had given all his life to dedicate his life for education. He wanted all Indonesian child can get better education and become the next ruler of this country. But it’s very contradictory with the reality.

In fact, there are many children cannot afford a better education in this country even though the government–has said–has given the 20 percent funds of APBN for education field but the improvement of education is not shown. I think Ki Hajar Dewantara would be upset if he is still alive now.
